InZine #5 and Event News
The comic page is from a short autobio story I drew for the Laydeez Do Comics Birmingham Hometown anthology. (the next LDC Birmingham event will be on Monday 4th April) I have some events news so it felt fitting to include the page here...
Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table at InZine Fest #5. It's always a lovely relaxed atmosphere and I had a great time chatting to local comics friends Joe Krawec, Timothy Conroy and Rees Finlay.
The next event will be the Birmingham Comics Festival - I'll be sharing a table with Joe Krawec and Angus Medford who will be launching their new comic Blood. (I wont be taking the folder of original drawings to this event due to space) I will have free mini comics to hand out.
I can also now confirm a 1/2 table at Thought Bubble! I'm super excited because it's my favourite event of the year. The convention will held on the first weekend of November.
A up to date list of events can be found on the blog sidebar (more added once confirmed) - Please don't forget I have an Etsy shop which ships world wide.

Birmingham MCM Comic Con 2016
Thanks to everyone at Birmingham MCM Comic Con this weekend! I had a good time hanging out in the comic village! My next event will be the InZine Fair #5 - a free event in Coventry on Saturday 26th March 2016. I wont be taking the drawing folder or full merchandise to this one but I will still have free mini comics to hand out! Thanks!
The gig sketches are from a great little event I went to in Digbeth. There was a film screening of Whiplash and live jazz music by Jonathan Silk (drums), Richard Foote (trombone), Stella Roberts (piano), Sean Gibbs (trumpet), Tom Bunting (bass) & Toby Boalch (saxophone). More information about Nadafilm events on facebook. (more gig sketches on my music blog)

Birmingham MCM Comic Con November 2014
Thank you to everyone who came by my table at Birmingham MCM Comic Con. It was strange doing a big event without Sarah Fogg so thank you very much to Lisa and Shaz for helping out.
I’m hoping to have some table space at the next InZine Fest - 12-5pm at The Pod (Coventry) on Saturday 6th December. See Facebook for more information.
And I’m sure I’ll see some of you in the new year at True Believers Comic Festival!
But if you can’t get to events you can order most of the items on the table from on Sarah’s Etsy Shop or my Etsy Shop.

InZine Fest
Thank you to everyone at InZine Fest in Coventry yesterday! I had a really great time despite a recovering headcold. It was good to meet local zine and comics creators and some arty students who passed through.
The next event I'm attending with Sarah Fogg will be the Bristol Comic & Zine Fair next saturday! We're sharing a half table so stock will be slightly limited. We're on time so far to launch the next issue of our music zine This Is Not A Serious Music Publication and the autumn issue of What's The Time Mrs. Woolf?
