Small Press Day 2016

Special thank you to Camila and the staff at Orbital Comics for putting on a lovely event for Small Press Day! The hour slot with Clíodhna, Jenika, Sina and Sean was good fun and the time flew by far too quickly!

I sent some gig sketches to One Beat Zines for a new zine they launched yesterday over at Gosh! Comics. It’s got a really great mixture of illustrations and comics!

Reminder: Laydeez do Comics Birmingham is on tomorrow night! Monday 11th July 7.30pm at The Victoria. Guest speakers will be Julie Pickering, Natalie Cutler & Bryony Attenburrow. See you there!! (ps. everyone is welcome - boys can come too)

Record Store Day 2015

I went down to London for Gosh! Comics Record Store Day events. I had a great time with One Beat Zines painting St. Vincent next to Lizz Lunney’s Street Dogs and Eleni Kalokoti’s and Laura Callaghan‘s dancing girls. I dropped off a couple of copies of This Is Not A Serious Music Publication and Giant Rhinos In Space #1 and #2.

Giant Rhinos In Space #1 Printed

Giant Rhinos In Space #1 is now available in print! You can order online through my Etsy shop. The comic is A5 with 32 black and white interior pages and a matt laminated full colour wrap around cover. You can also follow the comic weekly as a webcomic at  www.giantrhinos.smackjeeves.com

I will be taking the comics to some events this spring and sharing a table with Sarah Fogg

My comics were featured on the Gosh! Comics blog this week as part of a British Comics Month. I'm still really surprised about it, you should have a look at the excellent comics featured on the other days. (and of course visit their super awesome comic shop when you are in London) Thank you very much Gosh! Comics
