Grimes Risograph Fanzine

I compiled a Grimes Fanzine through my music blog www.thatmusiczine.tumblr.com - I was sent some beautiful illustrations, mostly through the UK small press comics scene. The zine was printed locally at Rope Press using a risograph machine with florescent pink ink. The zines are now ready to launch at True Believers Comic Festival this Saturday. You can find more spring events in the blog sidebar or order online through my Etsy shop.

Personal Commission - The Smith's

I have a price list online for personal commissions - ideal if you'd like to give someone a portrait for their birthday or anniversary or something specific to hang on your own wall. I can send an original ink drawing through the post and/or a full colour digital file for you to print. If you would like comic pages commissioned there might be an extra charge for the time it takes to plan and thumbnail page layouts and add lettering. (contact information available on the price list page)

Misc Fits: The Sea Apple Cover

Misc Fits is a new series of slice of life short stories about misfit college friends. The Sea Apple is the first short story comic coming soon

Over the summer you'll be able to follow the comic online via Tumblr , Smack Jeeves and Tapastic. A print version should be released in the autumn.

Annie and the Tectonic Plates

Annie and the Tectonic Plates are a band of aliens from my comic Giant Rhinos In Space. I designed a fictional gig poster to take to Manchester MCM Comic Con at the end of July. The posters should be available to order though Etsy in a couple of weeks time. Print copies of issues 1-3 are available to buy individually or in bundle offers.

Midlands MCM Comic Con 2015

Thank you to everyone who came by my table on Saturday at Midlands MCM Comic Con. It's only the 2nd time I've had a full 6ft table on my own like this so I'm just working out what to do with the extra space. This time I had a pile of ink drawings for people to sieve through, including some of the portraits I've been drawing for my new music blog. I updated my personal commissions web page in case anyone was interested in ordering something similar.

I have a table at Birmingham MCM Comic Con in March, I might be sharing with a friend so there is a chance the illustrations will be unavailable next time.

Anniversary Commission

I recently did a personal commission of a 1 page sample for a couple's anniversary. Click here for more information on commissions or email sammyborras@gmail.com

St. Vincent Portrait and Gigsketches

I went to see St. Vincent play at the Roundhouse when I was in London MCM Expo last weekend. The show was absolutely amazing. The audience were asked not to record the show digitally, but I still did a couple of sketches while I was there. I couldn't resist drawing a full illustration one I got home. The last set of sketches are of the warm up band, Coves.
