Giant Rhinos Blog

This summer I have been working on a short story about some of the Giant Rhinos In Space characters. I've been updating the blog weekly with design work along with some of the playlist songs that I have been enjoying.

Portrait 2013

I had to get new glasses this week, so I drew a new self portrait for online avatars. They're more complicated to colour than my old frames.

I can also announce that Inspired Comics will have a table at the Bristol Comic and Zine Fair in October!

What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? Summer 2013

I drew a recipe comic for the latest issue of What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? Sarah Fogg has listed the issues on her Etsy shop.

I also drew a tiny A7 mini comic for the What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? free mini zine

Manchester MCM Expo 2013 Photos

I had a great time on the Inspired Comics table with Sarah Fogg and Jack Davies at Manchester MCM Expo last weekend. We had a couple of new comics on the table which was exciting, including my new short story comic 2002 and the music zine Sarah and I finished this month.

New free mini comic to hand out at events! This year Inspired Comics Collective have confirmed tables at Manchester MCM Expo in July and London MCM Expo in October. The secret password to guarantee you get your copy is 'Do you have a business card?'

I'm still deciding whether to post the poster drawing online or keep it secret for those who get hold of the print version.

2002 - Printed Version Avalible

2002 is a nostalgic slice of life comic I worked on last year and finished in January. I'm still very pleased with the final work so I have decided to print full colour booklets to take with me to events. The next comics events Inspired Comics have confirmed tables at are Manchester MCM Expo and London MCM Expo.

The printed comics are also available online from my Etsy shop

You can read the complete comic online here

Hipsters In Space

Last year I drew a couple of illustrations of space probes for pratice. I got carried away and collected little facts about some of them. So this year I thought it would be fun to make a little zine out of the work I did. It's 1 A4 sheet of card folded into 8 A7 pages which fold out into a poster. I had a lot of fun drawing all the stars on each copy.

They are available to buy through my Etsy shop

What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? Spring 2013

I draw regular Stale Symphony comics for What's The Time Mrs. Woolf? This is a preview from the latest issue which was released in May. You can buy issues of Mrs. Woolf? from Sarah Fogg's Etsy Shop.

The zine has changed recently and is going to be released quarterly instead of bimonthly. They have an open submissions system for women if you're interested in submitting illustrations, comics, articles, puzzle pages or anything you would like to read in a zine! The next deadline is 6th July - click here for more information.

Oh My Glob Perzine! - Lumpy Space Princess Fanzine

This month I made a Lumpy Space Princess fanzine for fun. I've printed copies on purple card with hand drawn gold and yellow stars on the covers. They're now available from Etsy.
